Wye Oh Why- Britain’s Dumped In Its Rivers
We discuss the national shame that is the state of Britain’s rivers. Nobody is going to take a few gulps when wild swimming. Our rivers are overwhelmed with human waste and factory farm runoff, it’s killing them. We talk about why it’s happened and what we can do to turn it around.
Rudy Millard : our Altered State host. Rudy will moderate the talk and take questions to the panel at the end. He will be joined by Will McBain: Water Environment Leader at Arup; Simon Evans: CEO of the Wye and Usk Foundation and; Charlotte Hitchmough: Director at Action for the River Kennet and Trustee of the Rivers Trust
