Come and listen to some popular and some less well-known French songs with Peter, with a couple of songs with our directrice Audrey. The evening is for anyone interested in beautiful and entertaining French songs.
Peter Hawkins performs his interpretations of the songs of Georges Brassens. Join us to enjoy his authentic renderings of one of the most celebrated artists of Chanson française. Brassens was famous for a vast repertoire of poetic and satirical songs depicting rural life, romance as well as political themes. Peter will also share his adaptations of other famous artists such as Leo Ferré, Barbara, Anne Sylvestre and Julien Clerc.
