SUMMARY:Music: The Alan Fletcher Band
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to welcome The Alan Fletcher Band back to Bristol this September\, performing songs from their Americana/Country Music catalogue. \nAlan Fletcher may be best known for his 31 year (and counting) tenure on Neighbours\, but lately it’s his talent and passion for making folk and Americana music that has been delighting audiences at home and abroad. \nDrawing on the influence of legendary storytellers like John Prine and Guy Clark\, Fletcher crafts and delivers songs that tackle the human condition with warmth\, compassion and a wry sense of humour. \nSince the release of acclaimed full-length album The Point in 2022\, ‘Fletch’ has toured heavily on the Australian and UK Americana circuits\,\nincluding a run of 34 UK and Irish dates with collaborators Lachlan Bryan\, Riley Catherall and Jennifer Hansen \nAlan and his band will tour the UK extensively from August 2026.\nAlan has just released the single Ain’t Done Yet which foreshadows the release of his second album Back to School in February 2026. \n\n

SUMMARY:Music: Furlined
DESCRIPTION:Following their sold-out Hen & Chicken show in February 2026\, we are excited to welcome Furlined back. \nInfectious hooks\, rich vocals and lush\, swooning cello are the defining features of Furlined\, a Bristol-based band formed in 2012 by singer-songwriter Neil Crossley and cellist Tegan Everett. \nThe band’s sound spans alt country and wry English chamber pop – “Morrissey meets Americana” as one review put it –  and they have been likened to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds\, Richard Hawley and Orange Juice. \nFurlined have attracted acclaim in publications such as Mojo\, Clash Magazine\, RnR and Billboard. “Songwriter Neil Crossley has one of those winning\, strong yet gentle Jackie Leven / Richard Hawley baritones that do male vulnerability beautifully\,” concluded Mojo in a 4/5 review of the band’s second album Win A Dream Wedding. “Furlined’s other striking sound is Tegan Everett’s cello\, which intros most of Crossley’s dark-honey melodies… A band with distinct aural charms.” \n“Morrissey meets Americana – superb songs with an irresistible English wit.” Total Guitar 9/10
